Brief Profile of the speaker:

Professor in the Suleman Dawood School of Business at LUMS. Dr Hassan has served LUMS in many capacities besides his teaching and research, including Associate Dean, Dean, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice chancellor.

Though this has been part of "distinguished lecture series" at IBA but I am using this to fill a slot for guest speaker session in our course outline.

You will be given class attendence and a point for participation. Additional CP points can be earned by puting an intelligent question. (if any)

I will assign readings in the class for this, so come prepared to discuss.

To start with browse Cambridge's Centre for Technology Managment: (http://www.ifm.eng.cam.ac.uk/ctm/)

Note: Ofcourse therewill be no class on saturday instead this session will be suffice.

  1. really looking forward to the guest speaker session tommorrow. I think we should have more of these interactive sessions with experienced individuals like Dr. Hassan.

  2. Assalamualikum.

First, introductions are in order. The name is Nabiha Naeem. I'll be Mr. Arain's Grading assistant for the semester. I'm an MBA IV (Direct) student, majoring in Finance. That should be enough for the time.

Anyways, I'm just dropping in here to remind you all that 1) Everyone needs to or rather has to attend tomorrow's session. and 2) please take notes and feel free to ask questions because whatever is touched upon in the lecture will be quizzed from, in whatever way your teacher feels like (Class quizes or Terms)...
So kindly keep your eyes and ears open!

Also, I agree with your colleague that such sessions should be done more often and if any of you have any specific people or topics that you are interested to hear from/abt, do take the initiative of arranging sessions yourself. Initiatives count a lot in both personal and professional lives.

Anyways, comments and reservations always welcome. And since I'm an alien here, all I can say is that I'll be more than happy to help you in any way possible.

P.S. This should have been a separate post but since I don't have rights till now, so this was the only alternative available. Thank you for letting me intrude... :)
